Online Sales Support (m/f)

As Online Sales Supporter you will assist the Online Sales Manager and will be the first contact with prospects and clients coming through the Internet sales channels. As most contacts are supposed to be online, in writing, you must have strong communication skills in English and in German at least. French in addition is considered an asset.

Follow up of online sales campaigns and general online sales activities is the main activity of the Online Sales Support. Next to these, you will also maintain the content of our Web presence, and actively drive FGH's social media activity.

Your tasks :

  • Support of Online Sales Manager.
  • Document Online Activity (Statistics).
  • Manage Leads and Proposals.
  • Communicate with online prospects.
  • Follow up on online sales conversion processes.
  • Follow up on proposals.
  • Assure swift and correct policy emission.
  • Team up with policy administration.
  • Manage sales activity in response to online sales campaigns.
  • Respond to prospect queries.
  • Follow up on “broken conversion processes”.
  • Prepare statistics.
  • Maintain and drive social media channels.
  • Connect with Online Sales Manager.
  • Prepare content.
  • Watch and steer social media group activity.
  • Maintain the Internet Web content (CMS).
  • Maintain CRM incl. Complaints management.
  • Document sales activity in CRM system.
  • Communicate with online prospects via phone or online chat.
  • Give information about best insurance solution for prospect.

Your Profile :

We are looking for a new colleague with the following areas of expertise:
  • A Bachelor's degree in languages, business or related field from an accredited college or university or two (2) years of work experience, preferably in an insurance-related field.
  • Previous experience with direct customer service with strong client focus. PC skills with good knowledge of Microsoft packages and the ability to effectively manage computer technology, typing and word processing.
  • Strong customer focus with Strong diplomatic communication at all levels; verbally and written to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • A positive, helpful attitude, willing to work co-operatively with other members of the team with a good commercial awareness and with the ability to make decisions with the “bigger picture” in mind.
  • Able to effectively communicate with the clients, brokers, and other stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work in a team as well as autonomously and able to exercise professional judgement with the ability to identify when it becomes appropriate to escalate a problem.
  • Well-organized, accurate and attentive to detail and able to prioritize work and multi-tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and maintain a high degree of judgement, especially when working with information that is confidential in nature.
  • Highly adaptable, with a flexible approach to work, willing to do what is required to ensure that the team achieves its objectives while remaining focused on quality.
  • A pro-active approach to work with analytical problem solving skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Be familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Be familiar with Content Management System (CMS)
  • Good understanding of Internet mechanisms
  • Good understanding of social media platforms.
  • You are fluent in German and English (French and any other language skills would be considered as an asset).
