Global Health is the international health insurance brand of Luxembourg’s leading insurance group, Foyer. We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager (H/F/N) to drive growth across Western Europe, with a strong focus on the Benelux region. This role is based in Luxembourg and combines market-facing commercial activities with strategic collaboration across teams.
You will be responsible for expanding the distribution network, developing strategic broker partnerships, and winning new business. The role includes both acquiring new partners and growing existing relationships, with a direct impact on revenue and market presence.
Drive business development and expand market presence (approx. 25% travel)
Identify, target, and onboard new brokers, aggregators, and strategic partners
Expand the company’s distribution footprint across the region
Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and conferences
Lead end-to-end B2B sales processes, including complex RFPs
Coordinate with internal teams (pricing, proposals, onboarding)
Negotiate commercial terms in line with company strategy and margin targets
Own the full cycle of new business acquisition and renewals
Manage and grow a portfolio of broker and partner relationships
Act as the main point of contact for assigned partners
Drive retention, upselling, and partner satisfaction
Maintain accurate and structured pipeline management in CRM tools
Collaborate closely with Sales Operations/KAM, Underwriting, and Marketing
Provide market insights and partner feedback to internal teams
Growth in new business premiums within the region
Expansion and quality of distribution partnerships
Strong win rates on RFPs
High partner satisfaction and retention levels
Accurate and consistent pipeline management
• Minimum five years of experience in B2B business development, preferably in insurance or financial services
• Proven track record in partner acquisition and commercial growth
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and RFP processes
Strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities
Autonomous, proactive and results-oriented mindset
Ability to work effectively in an international and cross-functional environment
Structured and disciplined approach to pipeline and CRM management
Languages
Fluent in English
French or Dutch is considered an advantage
