FGH is now recruiting an Accountant to reinforce its Finance and Accounting teams.
Responsibilities
Various areas in the day-to-day bookkeeping:
Working cross-system to process postings
Technical (insurance activity) as well as non-technical (administrative costs) accounting responsibilities and financial (tax, amortization, etc.)
Liaise with all internal departments
Assist with month end closing
Execute accurate data/figures reconciliation between various systems used by the company (accounting and core insurance systems)
Act as an active support to other team members for all accounting related matters and providing hands-on assistance
Profile
Recognized qualification in accounting
At least 4 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the insurance sector
Good knowledge of LUX GAAP, and of financial accounting
Technical accounting within the insurance sector (reserving, calculations, etc.)
Knowledge of SAP accounting system would be an advantage
Communication and analytical skills
hands-on approach and a team player
Microsoft Office 365 suite, particularly Excel
Professional level of English is mandatory. German and/or French are regarded as an advantage
