Position Summary
As an International Health Insurance Actuarial Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the underwriting and actuarial team, particularly in the analysis of new business and the renewal of existing clients. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in actuarial practices and contribute to the success of our underwriting operations..
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the analysis of new business proposals and renewals of existing clients complying with profitability targets defined by the Company.
2. Support the underwriting team in evaluating risk and pricing strategies.
3. Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to aid in decision-making processes.
4. Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze relevant information.
5. Participate in meetings and discussions related to underwriting activities.
6. Perform other actuarial tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic and multicultural work environment.
• Language skills: Proficient in English and French. German or any other language are considered as an asset.
