• Execute the Compliance Monitoring Plan, including the review and testing of first-line controls, and contribute to compliance risk assessments.
• Perform due diligence reviews on partners, banks, counterparties, and clients, ensuring appropriate risk evaluation and documentation.
• Monitor regulatory developments, assess their impact on the organization, and support their effective implementation.
• Prepare high-quality reporting for management, including findings, risk analysis, and practical action plans.
• Contribute to the drafting, review, and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and control frameworks (e.g. KYC, risk scoring, KRIs).
• Support awareness and training initiatives to embed a compliance mindset across the organization.
• Participate in projects at Group level, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and best practices.
• Actively support day-to-day compliance operations with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• Strong personal and professional integrity, with a sound ethical judgment.
• Independent, critical thinker with a keen sense of fairness and regulatory awareness.
• Master’s degree in economics, finance, law, or a finance related discipline.
• Well established and documented experience as a Compliance Officer within the financial sector and at least 4 years of hands-on experience in controls and monitoring.
• Solid knowledge of banking and financial regulations, including control frameworks and governance. An M3 Compliance Certification (House of Training) or another EU-recognized certification is considered an advantage.
• Well-organized and structured, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Autonomous and proactive, while also able to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across departments.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office tools and interested in data management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in French and English is required; additional languages (Luxembourgish, Dutch, German etc.) are an asset.
